Kyiv (Osokorki): Last night (23-Jun-2015) there were luminous noctilucent clouds seen relatively high above horizon in North-Northwest direction in a sector wider than 45 degrees.
Floating at the edge of space (~80 km above the ground) they reflect Sun's light (which is below the horizon at the time).
An altitude of the clouds reached 20 degrees and probably even more; they were rapidly transforming in time.
The first picture was taken at ~22:33 EEST (UT+3); the second at ~22:42 EEST; the third at ~22:53 EEST. The last picture is two-frames animation with 38s interval ( ~22:33 EEST). Foreground cirrus clouds move from West to North (left to right in the picture) while noctilucent clouds move in the opposite direction.
Animation (2 frames, interval 38s)
The pictures were taken using Canon 600D with EF-S 18-55 kit lenses; f=18mm; F 4.5; 2s; ISO 400.
Updated 26-Jun-2015: added another picture.
